All is Lost!

Well, it's been a while since I've updated this thing. If you haven't noticed in the past few months I have moved servers. Yeah, I know it probably wasn't very obvious considering you can't actually tell whether I moved servers or my site just went down because I was probably messing around with it one day and it just went poof.

But that's not what happened.

I have officially upgraded to becoming a Reseller. I have 1Tb of Diskspace and an unlimited amount of bandwidth. This of course is all shared and is available from HostRocket.com at the affordable rate of $5 per month. (after a 2 year contract and prepay)

In the time since I've worked on my site I have had much to do with school and papers, and then labs, and now I'm in my finals week and I decided to salvage my long lost Blog. I know, I know. I should probably wait until I am out of finals week in order to work on this thing, but TRUST me, It took me 3 minutes to install this thing and now I'm just writing this entry to get some stuff off of my chest.

All in all, it has been a good first quarter here at UCSB. I am doing well with most, if not all, of my classes and I hope to Ace each one of my finals this week. Lets go over what I have done and what I have to do.

Monday Morning 8AM - Took the Common Final that all students have to take after going through the WRIT1 or WRIT1E course. I finished this essay in an hour. I feel that I did really well as the topic was on psychoanalysis and argued that the "inner man" vs the "outer man". Good Stuff.

Monday Afternoon 4PM - Just finished taking the CHEM 1A/Lab Final. Twenty Questions, Multiple choice. I didn't even blink. Dun dun dun. I finished that in 45 minutes and now I'm sitting here writing this blog entry.

Not much to do tomorrow or Wednesday. (No Finals that is.)

But I AM going to go take a tour of Willow Springs Apartments with Lalo and Adam. We're looking into possibly renting a 3 bedroom apartment beginning in the summer. They have quite a few hurdles to hop through though in order to apply for actually renting the place. Something like proving that you can pay for it with grants, stipends, or a two year history of monthly income totalling 3x as much as the rent each month. Pretty crazy, but I hope to work it all out.

Then I have a meeting with the Gaucho Cafe owner. I will be building them a WordPress Blog and customizing it to their specifications in terms of design. It's a cheap job, but I can't complain since I'll be getting a link on the bottom of the Design.

Thursday morning 8AM - Engineering 3 Final.  computer programming in MATLAB.  Should be easy I've got a practice test that isn't usually distributed because i typed up all of the practice questions in class so that I could reproduce the test over and over for practice.  I'll probably only take the practice test once in preparation.

Friday NOON - CHEM 1A Final.  The big one. The one that i'm not quite too sure about. Since I just finished my second review session I am feeling a lot better! It'll be good. I want to do well so that I can get an A in that class. All of my other classes seem to be looking like good grades overall. It'd be sweet if I pulled off a full set of A's. But I have never checked my grades (because there is no way to), so I'm not too sure about where my standing is right now.

Saturday 8AM - Math 3C Final.  I should be set on that one since i have done so well on the past few.  I have to do some review this week over the material that has been covered since hte last exam.  It's starting to get a little hazy and that isn't good.  But I am confident that I'll be able to pull it off seeing as how I've done so well in that class all year.

Then I come home!

More later this week.  I'm thinking about posting a Top 10 List sometime soon to see if I can generate any viral content from the list.
